Memories of a great era in my life
I remember when Buddy Holly and the Crickets came along in the 9th grade, and recall their songs from my time at the roller rink. I spent most of my allowance on 45 rpm records, and a lot of my lunch money, acquiring all of Buddy's. His catalog of songs is incredible, given his short time with us.
The singers and actors in this production were amazing, giving their all in their performances. Kurt Jenkins truly transformed into ZZ Top. For those of us who grew up in the late 50s/early 60s, this was a wonderful show. I have been listening to all my Buddy Holly CDs every day since then.
This show is a must-see. It is the best one I've seen in recent years.
